Superman.

Before you read this, let me just say, this post is practically useless, but Superman is currently on AMC (the Brandon Routh version) and these small annoyances are very blatantly on my mind and I can't shake them.

Here it is: I'm, 1) wondering why Superman has that one, tiny curl on his forehead and how he makes that happen when he takes off his Clark Kent suit and, 2) unable to take the entire mythology seriously. Not because of the cape and lycra onesie, or the X-ray vision or the jumping over building in a single bound - those things I can comprehend - but I've never been able to accept that Lois and everyone else around him, can't seem to see that Clark is a dead ringer for Superman. Those glasses and that curl aren't that masking... They're insulting my intelligence asking me to suspend my disbelief that far.
